Plymouth Police officers responded to the 800 block of West Garro Street for a loud noise complaint on Sunday, September 17th at 4 o’clock in the morning.
A vehicle was seen leaving the area playing loud music from their vehicle. This prompted a traffic stop to be initiated near the intersection of Fifth and Madison Street.
The driver was identified as Jose Melendez-Mayorga, 30, of the 800 block of West Garro Street in Plymouth.
Officer Schieber determined Jose to be operating a vehicle without receiving a license. During the officer’s investigation, it was found that Jose was nearly 3 times the legal limit. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for pending criminal charges of Operator Never Licensed, Operating While Intoxicated, and Operating While Intoxicated over .15.
