At about 11:30 Sunday night, September 17th officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 2010 North Michigan Street, the McDonald’s restaurant for a driver that appeared passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle in the drive-through line.

During the investigation, the driver was identified as Nelson Frost, 25 of Redwood Road in Plymouth.

After knocking several times on his window, officers were able to get the male party awake.

During the investigation, it was found that Nelson Frost was intoxicated.  He was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on criminal charges of Operating While Intoxicated and Operating While Intoxicated above .15 or higher.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
