Marshall County Police Officers responded to a property damage collision on State Road 17 near Carriage Drive, west of Plymouth on Friday, September 15th at 4 p.m.

Officers found that 56-year-old Dawn M. Rubio of South Bend had been a driver involved in the collision and had a suspended driver’s license.

Rubio was also found to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Elkhart County.

Rubio was arrested at the scene for the outstanding warrant and was transported to Elkhart County Jail a short time later.

As a result of Friday’s collision, a case report for driving while suspended will be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for examination and possible criminal charges.

Agencies assisting the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department were the Plymouth Police Department and Indiana State Police.
