On August 31st Steven Gorski of Plymouth launched an exploratory committee to run for Marshall County Commissioners for District 2.

Steve Gorski has been a resident of Plymouth and Marshall County for 50 years.  He attended Lincoln Junior High and Plymouth High School and worked in Plymouth for 30 years and 9 years in Bremen.  Steve was recently hired to serve as the Town of Culver’s Building Commissioner. 

In a release, he said, “While working and raising a family, I attended Indiana Institute of Technology on the South Bend campus and graduated with a BS in Business Administration.

Steve is married to Lynn Gorski, the Plymouth Clerk-Treasurer and they have raised two children, Samantha and Brian Gardner who live in Plymouth, and Thomas and Emma Gorski who live in Sheridan.  They also have 1 grandchild, so far. 

Steve Gorski said in his release, “I am committed to the progress and strength of this county and its communities by looking where we have been and where our future lies.  At the heart of this is a belief that we must all work together to build the economic bedrock of the community.”

Gorski is expected to face incumbent Mike Burroughs in the May 2024 Republican Primary for the District 2 Commissioner seat.
