Tuesday night the Culver Town Council made an appointment to the Culver Economic Development Commission (EDC) and the president of the Council Bill Cleavenger also had to make an appointment.
Town Attorney Jim Clevenger said, “As part of the Dunes Housing project the Economic Development incentive deal that going on requires the approval of the Economic Development Commission which has been pretty much inactive for years.”
He went on to say the County Council had appointed Ms. Lunetta the first of the year and the town board’s previous appointments were Commissioner Kevin Overmyer and Johathon Leist the former Culver Town Manager.
Clevenger said the appointments need to be a nomination and the town council will approve the nomination before being an official member of the EDC.
Culver Council President Bill Clevenger nominated Mark Damore Jr. as his appointee. He had filled out an application for the position and the Culver Town Council approved it. The council then nominated the new Culver Town Manager Kevin Danti and he was unanimously approved.
