On Thursday, September 7, at approximately 9:45 PM a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of Pine Road and US 6. The vehicle was occupied by three juveniles and one adult male identified as 18-year-old Glenn Manns of the 400 block of North Walnut Street in Plymouth.

During the traffic stop, suspected psilocybin (mushrooms), marijuana, and other controlled substances were located inside the vehicle.

Glenn Manns was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance When an Enhancing Circumstance Applies as a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Marijuana as a Class B Misdemeanor.

The three juveniles were transported from the scene and released to their parents.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
