The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall. 

The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from various city department heads, the city attorney, and the clerk/treasurer.  The board will hear requests to close Michigan Street in the downtown area for the annual Lighted Holiday Parade and for the annual Downtown Tractor Show in 2024. 

During other business, the Board of Public Works and Safety will discuss and is expected to approve the Water Street Townhomes Project.

The Common Council meets at 6:30 and will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2024 budget.  They will also consider the third reading of the ordinance fixing salaries for employees, appointed officers, and fire and police personnel for 2024.  They will also hear the first reading of an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for 2024 along with the salary ordinance for elected officials.
