This Saturday morning, September 9th at 11 AM the City of Plymouth will be cutting the ribbon for the newly renovated 105-year-old LaPorte Street Footbridge over the mighty Yellow River.
Mayor Mark Senter said in a news release, “This project was completed with an Indiana Department of Transportation enhancement grant, and they take a long time.”
Mayor Mark said “The City applied for the grant for this project in November of 2017 and ironically we were awarded it during the 100-year flood in February of 2018.”
VS Engineering, the Lochmueller Group designed and inspected the bridge and LaPorte Construction rebuilt it.
The public is welcome to attend.
