The Boys & Girls Clubs of Marshall County Plymouth Program Director Courtney Fonseca and Bremen Unit Director Tami Slaven recently attended the 2023 Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs All Staff Summit in Spencer, Indiana.
The Plymouth Unit was 1 of 5 Clubs throughout the entire state awarded “Club of the Year” in Indiana.
The Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Club’s Deputy Executive Director, Jessica McKinley, shared “I really enjoy working with this team. They do a great job with communication and providing thorough and meaningful responses when submitting monthly reports. They provide detailed programming offered through our IDOH grants and are creative and innovative in their approach and meeting youth where they are at. This year there was growth in their AmeriCorps program, and it has enhanced the overall programming being offered at their club.”
Courtney Fonseca was also named AmeriCorps Supervisor of the Year.
The Plymouth Unit’s Club Director Joanna Flora also received a special “Data Nerd” award for having the Club’s data in order, complete, and on time.
