On Tuesday, September 5th, the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to Freeman Drive at 5:45 in the afternoon for a possible fight in progress.
Officer Vinson began an investigation, it was determined that 31-year-old Anthony Waggoner of Dickson Street in Plymouth had arrived at the residence on Freeman Drive and assaulted the victim.
As a result of injuries, the victim was transported to the hospital by Plymouth Medics.
Anthony Waggoner was located walking near the residence and detained by police. He was then transported to the Plymouth hospital for clearance and later to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Domestic Battery and Public Intoxication. He was held on a $1500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
