Plymouth Police Officer John Weir conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:20 in the morning at the intersection of Michigan Street and Plymouth Goshen Trail. 

He stopped a Ford pickup truck for a traffic infraction and after speaking with the driver, 18-year-old Jesus Moyotl of Warsaw it was found that he never possessed a driver’s license.  After Officer Weir ran his information through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles it was also found that he had an active warrant for his arrest out of Kosciusko County.

Jesus Moyotl was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Operator Never Licensed with a prior and the warrant.    

 Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
