The Plymouth City Council approved the second reading of the ordinance setting salaries for appointed officers and employees, along with fire and police personnel for 2024 during their meeting Monday evening.  Mayor Senter said they have included a 5% increase.  City Attorney Sean Surrisi asked the council to only approve the second reading because there are potential revisions before the third and final reading.

The council also approved on second and third reading the ordinance repealing the Dog Registration and Tax ordinance that has been in place since 1918. Mayor Senter said when he purchased his dog’s tags in March of this year, he was the second person to do so.

The City Council also approved on the second and final reading an ordinance amending the fee schedule for the Department of Aviation.
