Officer Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department responded to 911 calls from Pretzels Inc. at 2910 Commerce Street on Wednesday morning, August 23 at 6:05 for a physical altercation. 

Police were advised that an employee had been involved in a physical altercation. 

While officers were attempting to investigate the situation, the suspect, 33-year-old Mardel Beamon, of Grandville, Michigan, became disorderly and uncooperative. 

Police were told that Mardel had gotten physical with an employee of Pretzels while attempting to deliver goods to the factory. 

Mardel Beamon was taken into custody after a brief struggle and lodged at the Marshall County Jail for Resisting Law Enforcement. 90 minutes later he was released on a cash bond.
