Officer John Weir with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a Honda Accord at Michigan Road and Veterans Parkway on Wednesday, August 23rd at about 7:15 in the morning for a couple of traffic infractions.

While speaking to the driver, 28-year-old Oscar Carrasco Galvez of North Montgomery Street in Bremen, it was learned that he has never possessed a driver’s license. 

Galves was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County jail for Operator Never Licensed.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
