35-year-old Albert Presston Miller Jr. of the 2500 block of North Michigan Street in Plymouth is a registered sex offender having been convicted of Child Solicitation. He is classified as an offender against children with an estimated 16 years remaining on his requirements to register as a sex offender. He has a requirement to register annually as well as within 72 hours of any change of information including but not limited to his address, phone number, and social media accounts.
On August 15th, it was discovered that Albert Miller’s registered phone number was no longer in service, and Miller obtained a new phone without registering the new number. Upon further investigation, a social media account through Facebook was located which showed Albert Miller as the owner of the account, which again was not registered.
On August 23rd, Albert Miller was located at his residence and questioned regarding the discrepancies. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for Failure to Register as a Sex offender with a prior conviction. He is being held in the county jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
