Wondering about the dos and don’ts of recycling? Want to make sure the contents of your curbside bin are getting recycled? Want to find out about the future of recycling here in our state? (Hint: it’s bright!)

Marshall County Solid Waste Educator River Watson will lead a short, interactive (and free) class on recycling best practices for Marshall County from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th at the Recycle Depot. The class will be held in the air-conditioned classroom at the District, and it will also include a tour of the Recycle Depot facility (weather permitting) to show how recyclables are collected, baled, and shipped.

The class is free and open to all ages. Bring all your questions about waste and recycling in Indiana!

The Recycle Depot is Marshall County’s headquarters for recycling, household chemical and hazardous waste disposal, and environmental education.
