Marshall County Deputy Blake Bennett and his K9 partner arrested a Plymouth woman on Friday, August 18th following a traffic stop near Veterans Parkway and Michigan Road north of Plymouth.
At about 7:45 p.m. the deputy stopped the vehicle that was occupied by the driver and a juvenile passenger.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 27-year-old Katelynn Heltzel of Quince Road in Plymouth.
During the traffic stop, suspected controlled substances were located in the vehicle.
Katelynn Heltzel was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance as a Class A Misdemeanor with additional charges that may be forthcoming.
