Each year, during the Senior Expo, Marshall County Older Adult Services announces and presents the Senior of the Year award.
Nominations are now being accepted. If you know a special senior in Marshall County who possesses the qualities of kindness towards others, exemplary volunteering, a zest for life, and a positive attitude please complete the one-page application and submit it before September 29th. The simple application will ask you to give a brief description of the nominee’s contributions to the community and highlight any of their special attributes.
2021 was the first year for the award and Lynn Gee was the winner. Last year in 2022 Ruby Whiteman was the honoree. This year’s winner will be announced during the Senior Expo on October 19th at Plymouth High School.
