A Plymouth tire and auto care service facility celebrated the groundbreaking of its planned expansion Tuesday morning.
Monteith Tire’s Best One Tire & Auto Care, 2150 North Oak Drive, hopes to complete the addition of eight new bays by the end of the year.
“We’re excited about it. We think it’s going to help us serve the community better,” said President Tim Wolfe. “They’ll be cars in and out faster and added employment.”
Wolfe says the current contractor, Nuway Construction of Goshen, constructed improvements to the showroom and outside of the building when his company purchased the former Plymouth Tire years before. So, they turned again to Nuway for this expansion.
Andy Nesbitt, President of Nuway Construction, is thankful for the confidence Wolfe and his team have put into Nuway.
“When customers like Tim call us, we start from the beginning. We design it all the way through the construction and then we turn the keys over.”
The Plymouth location is one of 13 in Michiana.
