On Friday, August 11th, at approximately 11 p.m., a deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department performed a traffic stop on U.S. 30 near U.S. 31.
During the investigation, the driver, 30-year-old Braxton Moore of Indianapolis was found to have a controlled substance in his possession.
Mr. Moore was placed into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance. His cash bond was set at $500. Moore posted bond on Sunday at about 12:45 a.m. and was released.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
