The REES Theatre in Plymouth will be offering people two opportunities to support area students at the Family Sunday Matinees this month.
On August 20th, The REES will be accepting donated school supplies. Donors may designate the school of their choice. People may also make monetary donations to the school of their choice, with the funds being designated for delinquent lunch accounts.

The featured movie will be “Matilda.” Based on the Roald Dahl novel, the movie stars Mara Wilson as Matilda Wormwood, Danny DeVito, and Rhea Perlman as her parents, Embeth David as Miss Honey, and Pam Ferris as the dreaded Miss Trunchbull. This movie is sponsored by Thomas M. Pedavoli, DDS, Family Dentistry.

On August 27, The REES will show “The Lego Movie.” This animated adventure features the voices of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, and Elizabeth Banks. This movie is sponsored by Emilee & Ivy’s Vendor Mall.
Keeping with the movie’s theme, people should plan to come early to see the Lego projects completed by Marshall County 4-H members.
The show time for both films is 2 p.m. Tickets are just $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available online at reestheatre.com or at Fernbaugh’s Diamonds in downtown Plymouth.
