The City of Plymouth will conduct its regular meetings on Monday evening, August 14th beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety. The Common Council meeting follows at 6:30 and both meetings are held in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall.
The agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting includes reports from various department heads. Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will give project updates and present a 2024 water improvement project with Shannon McLeod from Priority Projects Resources and Airport Manager Bill Sheley will ask the Board of Public Works to approve a laborer seasonal maintenance job description.
The Common Council will consider the second and third readings of the ordinance setting salaries for appointed officers, employees, and fire and police personnel for 2024. They will also consider two amendments to the city’s Zoning Ordinances and an amendment to the fee schedule for the Aviation Department. There is also an ordinance to repeal the Dog Registration and Tax for the city of Plymouth.
The city meetings are held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall. Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door. The city meetings are also streamed live on the city’s website at www.plymouthin.com.
