Habitual traffic violator arrested by city police for driving

On Saturday, August 5^th a traffic stop was initiated on a 2004 White Mercury at 2001 North Michigan Street by Officer Vinson with the Plymouth Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle, Robert Aldrich, 51, of Rolling Prairie was found to have a driving status of Habitual Traffic Violator as a Felony.

Robert was detained and transported to the Marshall County Jail without incident and booked for Operating a vehicle while HTV Felony 6.  His cash bond was set at $1,500 although he was released 48 hours later with NO JUDICIAL REVIEW. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
