Officer Mark with the Plymouth Police Department investigated a traffic accident on Friday, August 4th at 7:18 p.m.
The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center was advised of a traffic accident in the parking lot at 309 N. Kingston Road, the Pointe Apartments.
When Plymouth Officer Mark arrived on scene his investigation showed that 33-year-old Shaun Dewing of the Kingston Road address was the driver and hit a parked car.
Shaun was checked through standardized field sobriety testing and transported to the hospital for a chemical test and jail clearance.
Shaun Dewing was found to be over three times the legal limit for alcohol. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Operating a motor vehicle While intoxicated at .15% or higher and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
