The Mashall County Commissioners will meet this morning at 8:30 in their second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
The agenda for the meeting includes Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and they will do the bid opening for the Elm Road Bridge. Also on the agenda will be Veterans Service Officer Pan Schweizer-Betz will give her quarterly report and Jessica Beatty from Marshall County Tourism will appear before the commissioners.
County Clerk, Jenny Bennitt will discuss the 2024 election with the commissioner and ask to have the county closed for the Primary and General Elections. Also on the agenda is the quarterly report from the Marshall County Council on Aging with Janis Holiday and Viki Brown will have a request for Dustin’s Place.
County Plan Director Ty Adley will ask the commissioners to conduct a public hearing on the request of Ronald Davis to develop an upscale shipping container residential development at 3919 North Michigan Road, the former trailer park.
The ARP Subcommittee will make recommendations to the county commissioners and Judge Dean Colvin will discuss Community Corrections since the executive director, Ward Byers resigned.
