The Culver Town Council will meet for a work session to discuss budget requests on Friday, August 4th at 1 p.m. in the Culver Town Hall. Budget requests will be presented for the Street, Police, and Clerk Departments as well as Motor Vehicle Highway, Local Roads and Streets, Cumulative Capital Development, and Riverboat funds. The town council also may hear requests from the Marshall County Council on Aging, Culver Youth Club, Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee Visitor Center, Tree Commission, and others who might request funding from the Town of Culver.
The tentative schedule is:
1:00 p.m. – Street Department, MVH, LRS
1:30 p.m. – Marshall County Council on Aging, Culver Youth Club,
Visitor Center, Tree Commission, etc.
2:30 p.m. – Police
3:30 p.m. – Clerk, Cumulative Capital Development, Riverboat
The Culver Town Council will conduct a second budget work session on Monday, August 7th at 2 p.m. in the Culver Town Hall.
This time the council’s tentative schedule includes:
2 p.m. – Park Department
3 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services
4 p.m. – If needed, Marshall County Council on Aging, Culver Youth Club, Visitor Center, Tree Commission, etc.
4:30 p.m. – Fire
Both Culver Town Council work sessions are open to the public.
