The Marshall County Park and Recreation Board meeting will be held this evening at 6 p.m. at the Memorial Forest at the corner of State Road 17 and 14th Road.

The agenda for the meeting includes an update on the multi-use trail at Mill Pond, and an update on the historic trustee cabin, security, cameras, and the well installation at the Memorial Forest.  County Park Board members will also receive an update on the canoe and kayak launch.

Under new business, Annette Haining, Marshall County’s Tobacco Education Coordinator will discuss the idea of making the Memorial Forest and Trails at Mill Pond smoke-free.

The County Park board meetings are open to the public.
