Every quarter, the Marshall County Solid Waste District sponsors Green Drinks, a networking event for Marshall County citizens, businesses, and non-profit organizations who are interested in environmental topics. This includes those who work in waste management, ecology, environmental education, and other fields related to sustainability.

The evening starts with drinks and/or dinner, followed by a short presentation and time for casual conversations. This time, the event will be held at the Lakehouse Grille in Culver, Indiana from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., with a presentation by Deb Palmer of the Lake Maxinkuckee Environmental Fund on the connection between aquatic plants and water quality. Dress is casual, but we will be outside on the patio, so plan accordingly. Stay the whole time or drop in for a while – it is sure to be a great time to catch up, share news, and make new friends.
