Morning showers and thunderstorms along with lingering cloud cover have delayed daytime heating. Thus, afternoon high temperatures will only reach into the upper 80s and limit apparent temperatures to the low to mid-90s. The National Weather Service has canceled the HEAT ADVISORY for Starke, Marshall, Whitley, Allen, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Grant, Blackford, Jay, Kosciusko, and Putnam counties in Indiana.
The cancelation includes the cities of Knox, North Judson, Bass Lake, Plymouth, Bremen, Culver, Columbia City, Tri-Lakes, South Whitley, Fort Wayne, New Haven, Wabash, North Manchester, Huntington, Roanoke, Bluffton, Ossian, Decatur, Berne, Marion, Gas City, Upland, Hartford City, Montpelier, Portland, Dunkirk, Syracuse, Milford, North Webster, Leesburg, Warsaw, Winona Lake, Silver Lake, Mentone, Paulding, Antwerp, Payne, Ottawa, Leipsic, Columbus Grove, Continental, and Pandora.
