Tuesday night, July 25th at approximately 10:30 Plymouth Police units were dispatched to 2535 North Michigan Street, the Economy Inn.
Police were dispatched due to several 911 hang-ups.
Arriving on the scene, Sergeant Richey spoke with a witness that said they heard a female scream from one of the rooms in the motel. They suspected a domestic violence situation.
During the investigation, 24-year-old Lorenz Che Wenger of Goshen was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked in for Domestic Battery and Strangulation and held on a $1,500 cash bond. Wenger was released on Thursday, July 27th at 11:15 p.m. with NO JUDICIAL REVIEW.
