The Plymouth Park Department will host a public open house for the Harrison Street Trail Project this week.

The open house will be held at the Life Enrichment Center at 1305 West Harrison Street on Wednesday, July 26th from 4 to 6 p.m.  There will be maps and drawings of the proposed route and the open house is for citizens who live along the route and want to find out more about the project. City Attorney Sean Surrisi said the route will begin at Harrison Street and Oak Drive and head east on Harrison Street to Plum Street where it will go south to Jackson Street.  Once on Jackson Street, you will continue going east.   There will be a crossing at Michigan Street and the trail will continue to the Conservation Club House. USI Consultants, the engineers for the project, will answer questions during the open house.  The hope for the open house on Wednesday is to improve and refine the project before moving on to the detailed construction drawings.
