The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio.
The best chance of thunderstorms is this afternoon into early this evening. There is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening across most of the area. The primary hazards appear to be damaging wind gusts to 60 to 70 mph and large hail of 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Some locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
Some of the counties in the Hazardous Weather Outlook include Elkhart, Lagrange, Steuben, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, Whitley, Cass, St. Joseph, Kosciusko, La Porte, and St. Joseph.
