Plymouth Police were dispatched to 2505 North Oak Drive, Walmart on Saturday, July 15th just after 11 p.m. after receiving an active 911 call about some type of domestic issue.

Arriving on the scene, officers located the male half of the argument.  He was identified as 47-year-old William R. Gutierrez of Valparaiso.

Gutierrez was argumentative with officers and had to be told multiple times to stop yelling and making a scene. He was investigated for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and as a result of the investigation, booked into the Marshall County Jail and charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating While Intoxicated over .15, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly conduct.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
