Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel is proud to announce the addition of Robert Williams to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as Deputy Sheriff.
Robert is a graduate of LaVille High School. He has worked for several different businesses in the area and served in the United States Army Reserves for eight years. Robert is 29 years old and is married to Leslie Williams. Williams has no police experience. He began work on Monday and will begin his training with Marshall County Police Officers. He will also get scheduled to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield in the next few months.
This hire bring the County Sheriff’s Department Merit Officers to 19 so they are still 2 short. Sheriff Hassel just re-advertised that they are accepting applications until July 28th for Merit Officer positions.
