The Plymouth City Council and Board of Public Works and Safety will hold their regular meetings Monday evening, July 10th beginning at 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall. The meetings are open to the public and available online from the city’s website at www.plymouthin.com
The Board of Public Works and Safety begins at 6 p.m. and members will hear from various department heads. They are expected to award the Community Crossing Matching Grant project for Gibson and LaPorte Streets at the junior high.
Also on the agenda is the consideration of an executive order making an appointment to the Plymouth Plan Commission and a resolution to adopt an Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Training Reimbursement Agreement. There are requests for an alley closure for St. Michael Parish’s Fall Festival and a request to block parking spaces for Wild Rose Moon.
The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 with a request to consider a rezoning request for property between Jefferson and Berkley Street and Church of the Heartland and Martins Supermarket.
The council has three resolutions pertaining to adding a project to the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission TIF Districts number 1, 2, and 3.
Anyone attending the meeting should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second-floor for the meetings.
