Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester, IN is one of 50 hospitals nationwide nominated in an “America’s Most Beautiful Hospital” contest.
Woodlawn Hospital was nominated for its beautiful, wooded grounds and excellent patient service. It’s the only 4-star CMS facility within 50 miles and has six Rural Health Clinics with Exemplary Provider status. The staff, grounds, and outstanding quality of care make this hospital the best kept secret in Indiana.
The contest’s voting period to determine the winner runs from June 22nd to July 27th.
The “20 Most Beautiful Hospitals” contest is sponsored by top national healthcare staffing firm Soliant. The program recognizes hospitals for their commitment to developing and improving their campuses, facilities and staff, thereby creating holistic and healing environments. Soliant will donate $5,000 to the winning hospital’s foundation.

Soliant began this program in 2009, and since then more than 150 outstanding hospitals have been recognized. The annual contest is held to discover hospitals in the United States that prove beauty is more than skin deep – that it starts from within and radiates through by making patients feel more comfortable, healing them faster and treating them like family. Whether it’s soothing art and design, a healing garden to make a hospital feel more like home, or the support of the top-notch staff who know that love and laughter may be the best medicine, Soliant seeks out nominations and votes from community members and staff for those hospitals they feel best represent this beauty.
Votes for hospital winners will be accepted through July 27th 2023, at https://www.soliant.com/most-beautiful-hospital-contest/. The contest’s winners will be announced August 2nd 2023.
