Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter kicks off his final Mayor’s Month of Music tonight in River Park Square.
For the next nine Fridays, July 7th through September 1st, the community is invited to River Park Square to enjoy a variety of FREE concerts.
All the fun begins tonight at 7 p.m. with Cornfield Mafia. Cornfield Mafia is a country band from Danville, IN. The band has been considered Americana / Neo-traditional country. In the 13 years that the band has been in existence, it has put out 3 EPs of original music and has had radio play across the country.
They have played in front of crowds ranging from 10’s to thousands, to backyard parties, weddings, state fairs, and festivals.
Cornfield Mafia offers a variety of music. Some of the artists they cover are Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Waylon Jennings Luke Combs, Zac Brown Band, Poison, Bryan Adams, Dire Straits, Vince Gill, Bruno Mars, and many more. This is a high-energy stage show, with great musicianship and radio-quality vocals.
Next week’s concert feature Rock Dogs. They have a local connection with Ed McDermott who graduated from Plymouth High School. The RockDogs are four veteran musicians who have 20+ years of experience playing the Michiana, northwest Indiana, and Chicago markets. Their music spans multiple genres from the 60s to new songs released in 2022.

Those attending the concerts can bring a picnic to enjoy and their own cooler with the beverages they like. There will also be a host of food trucks including Bob’s Cafeteria, Pig in a Pen, Dainty Donuts, Cravo On Tacos, Bailey’s Sweet Kettle Corn, Apex Ice, B & B Vending, Ron’s Dogs, Ben’s Soft Pretzels, Chubby Buddies, and Beary’s Ice Cream with tasty items to purchase. The Marshall County Museum will be a fundraiser selling ice cream novelties for $1 and Marshall County Relay for Life will be in the concession stand with popcorn, candy, water, pop hot dogs, and chips for $1.
