Crossroads Church in Plymouth will be conducting a community Wide food drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It’s estimated that more than 75 volunteers from Crossroads Church will be working this Saturday. Some will be greeting shoppers out front of Kroger, Martin’s Supermarket, and Walmart and offer a list of items needed to fill the food pantry at the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. They will also be accepting financial donations to the Neighborhood Center too.
Another group of volunteers will be driving to the three local groceries and collecting the food donations and delivering them to the Neighborhood Center during the food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The final group of volunteers from Crossroads Church will be at the Neighborhood Center unloading the donated food items and organizing them with the assistance of the center’s staff.
Some of the items Crossroads Church will be gathering for the Neighborhood Center on Saturday include peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti noodles and sauce, hamburger helpers, all kinds of cereals, and breakfast items.
