Garrison Arrested for Theft of a Purse from Shopping Cart at Walmart

Richard G. Garrison Jr., 45, of the Economy Inn in Plymouth was arrested on Tuesday, June 20^th by Plymouth Police for Theft. 

Police Chief Dave Bacon said the Plymouth Police Department case is from May 20^th.  Garrison is the suspect in the theft of a purse from a shopping cart at Walmart. 

A warrant was issued for his arrest and an unknown County officer served the warrant on him.  Richard Garrison Jr. is being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
