Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were patrolling the area of 520 West Jefferson Street on Thursday, June 16th about 8:20 p.m. when they observed Johnathon Porter and knew him to have a warrant.
Officers stopped and positively identified the suspect, 30-year-old Jonathan Porter who was listed as homeless. He was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail on an arrest warrant for Probation Violation. He acquired new charges of Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Meth.

27-year-old Autumn Graves from 1420 West Madison Street was also identified after she provided a false name to officers. She was taken into custody for an arrest warrant out of Saint Joseph County and a new charge of False Informing.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
