Sergeant Taberski with the Plymouth Police Department observed a vehicle with its lights on behind the Park Side Mini-Mart at 1717 North Michigan Street Wednesday, June 14th at 11:12 p.m.
The officer pulled in behind the vehicle and observed two subjects inside the vehicle and one standing outside the vehicle. All three subjects were identified and after the initial investigation, the driver of the vehicle was identified as 28-year-old Isaiah Good of Robin Lane in Plymouth. As the investigation continued, Good was placed under arrest for Operation While Intoxicated w/bac above .15% with Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Marijuana and a Schedule II drug. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Trevor D. Roth, 28, of Plymouth LaPorte Trail in Plymouth was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and held on a $250 cash bond.
Both were transported to the Marshall County Jail. The third subject was released from the scene.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
