Members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety received an update on the Hydrant Flushing project from Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson Monday evening. Davidson said they started flushing at the beginning of June and it will continue for about two and a half more weeks.
The water main flushing project may create temporary pressure fluctuations and discoloration of your city’s drinking water. If your water should become discolored water, please run your cold water for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. If the discolored water continues, please call the Plymouth Water Department at 574-936-2543.
Davidson also told the Board of Public Works and Safety that the 2023 Drinking Water Quality Report Consumer Confidence Report is now available for review on the city’s website at plymouthin.com. Customers will receive information in their next water bill on how to view the report.
