Project HOPE, in partnership with RemedyLIVE and Breathe Easy Marshall County, is hosting an important countywide event.

RemedyLIVE recently served over 3,500 Marshall County students in grades 6-12, with the Get Schooled Tour ESCAPE, including students from Argos, Bremen, Culver, John Glenn, LaVille, Plymouth, and Triton. Through their interactive and anonymous polling, they found that close to 50% of students are exposed to drug or alcohol use outside of school.

Annette Haining, Marshall County’s Tobacco Education Coordinator said, “Our Hope for Youth event will bring polling data to light and will provide real next-step solutions for families, teachers, and community leaders to help teens.”

Annette has been busy inviting various governmental or school organizations to attend the presentation on June 27th.  She’s been before the Marshall County Commissioners and Council, Plymouth City Council, and Plymouth School Board.

Guest speakers for the event includeSenator Mike Bohacek and Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter.  Special Guests attending include Representative Jack Jordan and Representative Jake Teshka.
