Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel is proud to announce that Chloe Garner, of Plymouth, has been selected by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Committee to receive a $750.00 scholarship.
The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established for the purpose of receiving, investing, and dispensing of funds to provide college scholarships to qualified students who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field. There were 40 scholarships awarded by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund this year.
Chloe is a Graduate of Plymouth High School Class of 2021 and while in her senior year interned in the Marshall County Jail. Chloe will be starting her junior year this fall at Indiana University South Bend majoring in Criminal Justice. Chloe was awarded this same scholarship from the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association in 2021.
