During Monday’s “What’s Your Opinion Show”, Mayor Mark Senter may have let the cat out of the bag that Bowen Center is going to build a new facility in Plymouth.

Mayor Mark said they are building a hospital at the corner of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive.

WTCA contacted the Bowen Center and was told, “It’s a little early.”  They did say they are in the process of adding a primary care health clinic in one of their current offices to add to their mental health care services.

Claudia Johnson, PR and Marketing for the Bowen Center did say, “We also have a groundbreaking in our future for a brand-new building on U.S. 30.”  They will be moving from their current locations in Plymouth to that new facility.  In this new building, they will provide mental health care, primary health care, and addiction recovery treatment.  At a later date, there is the possibility of adding dental and optometry but that is a bit farther out.
