Tri Kappa’s annual Spring Student Art Show returns to Plymouth High School on May 5 to celebrate the artistic talents of Plymouth’s fifth through twelfth-grade students. The Art Show coincides with the high school’s Spring Variety Show, so the public may view the honored pieces in the corridor near the auditorium during the evenings of May 5 and 6 or after school hours through May 12.

With the help of Plymouth Community School Corporation art teachers, Faith Hansen, Jeff Hunter, Haley Stegelmann, and Megan Wiesenberg, Tri Kappa invited students to submit their favorite pieces for the show. Artists from the Heartland Artists Gallery will face the tough job of judging their creations. Judges will evaluate high school student work in the following categories: Black and White Drawing, Ceramics, Color Drawing, Digital Design, Mixed Media, Painting, 3-D, and Best in Show. Prizes for fifth through eighth-grade students will be determined by grade level. Tri Kappa will present all award winners with ribbons and monetary prizes.
