In April 1999, Best Man in Grass Creek premiered at The REES Theatre complete with flood lights and a red carpet. It returns to The REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth this Sunday, April 16, at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Tim and Sarah Smith are the sponsors of this movie.
This indie was actually filmed closer to, and in Kewanna but apparently, Grass Creek had a better ring to it.
Three years after being stood up at the altar by his fiancée, Adam Lewis is approached by an insecure editor to be his best man. In a desperate trade to get his comic strip published, Adam agrees.
When Adam and his new girlfriend Holly arrive in Grass Creek, they discover his editor, Jimmy, has told everyone that he and Adam were best friends and roommates in college and the wedding is being threatened by the bride’s ex-boyfriend.
Adam’s wedding phobia begins to rub off on Jimmy, and soon, Adam finds himself responsible for frightening Jimmy away from the altar.
This movie is rated PG. Adults $5.00, children 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by a paid adult.
Tickets are available at Fernbaugh’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry in Plymouth, IN or at www.reestheatre.com . Box office opens at 1:15 p.m.
