Marshall County REMC strives to provide reliable power to their customers by keeping power lines clear in the right-of-way (ROW). Through vegetation management, they are better able to prepare for future weather events and secure the reliability of the grid. Strategic tree trimming also reduces the frequency of downed lines causing power outages.

Marshall County REMC has hired Mint City Tree Service to conduct the tree timing this season.  The map of this year’s work area shows a major concentration in the Tyner area, north of 6th Road and west of Michigan Road to the west County Line.  They are also working northeast of Plymouth up King Road from 8th Road to 4th Road including Jarrah, Juniper, and Hawthorn Roads.  There is also some work south of Bremen on Elm Road, Beech Road, and Cedar Road.

Anyone with questions or concerns can contact Mint City Tree Service at 574-300-4649.

Marshall County REMC thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation to ensure quality electric service for all members of Marshall County REMC.
