Monday afternoon, Officer Weir with the Plymouth Police Department assisted the State Parole Board in serving a warrant on 37-year-old Brock Biddle of Loon Court in Plymouth.

As officers arrived at 725 Loon Court Biddle jumped out a window but was immediately taken into custody.  Officers located suspected methamphetamine and heroin during a search of Brock Biddle’s person.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for the warrant and new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Narcotic Drug and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Victoria Anderson, 22, of Walkerton was also at the residence.  Officer Weir found that she had an active arrest warrant through Marshall County for Failure to Appear.  Anderson was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and booked with NO BOND on the warrant.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
