After a several-year break due to the pandemic, the Marshall County Kid’s Expo will take place in the Plymouth High School’s multi-purpose room from 5 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13. Bringing together kids and families with the children’s activities, camps, and services available in Marshall County, the Expo provides helpful information in an active and fun-filled environment.
More than 30 youth-focused businesses and organizations representing sports, visual and performing arts, music, education, and health will participate this year. “We are excited to be back and are thrilled to welcome a number of new organizations to the event,” said Expo committee member, Lisa Miller. “The Expo remains a one-stop spot for info about what can keep children busy and healthy throughout the year.”
As always, young attendees can look forward to lots of interactive fun at the Expo. Among this year’s many activities include creating art with the Heartland Artists, Jenga with Dustin’s Place, and putting practice with the Marshall County Junior Golf Tour. The Expo will also present the talents of the young performing and martial artists from Expressions Dance Studio, The REES Theatre, Core Dance Center, and Integrity Martial Arts.
In addition to the exhibitor booths, giveaways, and performances, the Expo will feature a painted rock hunt for prizes and a surprise appearance or two.
